October 22, 2011 Saturday - Start of our Federation Israel trip.
We met Rich Bergman around 5 pm and had a drink with a few others from our group. Shouna and Aaron joined us. At 7 our entire group meet for the first time and had a retired Israeli pilot/General escorted us to the original train station in Tel Aviv. We had a very nice dinner at Regina at the Tachana. We were joined by two young men who recently came to Israel to make Aliyah. One was from NJ and Princeton University and the other from Sarasota and Yale. They were going into the army in February. They are working on tests to be placed in the best units they can get into. After dinner we walked back to our hotel.
